Mission: Errand of Mercy
Location: Dark Star, shadowing the USS Redemption
Timeline: ED 5

ON:

Stovvan looked at his wife and the Major before stepping onto the transporter PADD and vanishing into a pillar of white and blue light. PALLAS had dropped the specific shields over the Intelligence Hub to give him access to the location he needed to enter with out leaving a trace. As he reappeared in the office of the Chief of Intelligence on the Redemption. He looked over at the desk but didn't see anyone and calmly settled himself in a chair at the desk and crossed his legs. He was well aware of PALLAS and asked her to invite the Lieutenant Commander to her office for a meeting but to remain vague as to who it was that was waiting.

---Geri's location---

"Lieutenant Commander, someone wishes to speak with you in your office. They request your presence at your leisure." PALLAS reported to Geri then disappeared before the Commander to ask any questions.

Geri scowled as the AI disappeared before her. Her deep sapphire eyes would surely have turned crimson if such a thing was possible for surely the AI was mistaken as to this mystery person's location or that would mean a certain encryption specialist would soon find employment cleaning plasma coils. She stood for a moment contemplating what she would do with that certain staff member when she arrived in the hub.

--Intelligence Hub--

As the doors of the hub hissed open, Geri slowly stepped through ensuring to dig her heel into the ground so the clack would echo through the room and draw the attention of her staff. She stopped just beyond the door allowing it to shut behind her before she spoke. Her eyes surveyed the room piercing each and every member looking towards her.

"I thought I made myself perfectly clear." She said snickering slightly, her snicker obviously a sarcastic gesture masking her true ire but making it known to all. "The AI is a security risk, there is NO point to a damn shield if it can drop it!" She boomed.

The room was silent for a moment as both the staff and Geri looked at one another. "Rest assured I'll deal with this after." She said with a smirk strutting towards her office.

Entering her office, the individual sitting in the chair across from hers wreaked of Tempest, what did the Admiral want now?

Sighing she took a seat in her chair and simply stared at the person across from her.

Stovvan nodded to her "Admiral West sends his regards. I'm here as a courtesy to let you know that I'm standing off shadowing the Redemption. I'll be waiting for the opportune moment to capture the rogue agent." He paused as he returned the icey stair she was drilling him with.

"Why wait? I could have him here in two minutes and you could apprehend him without anyone knowing." Geri replied.

"Orders, we're to observe and see if he leads us to anyone else. " Stovvan replied "Also I have a special delivery for you. I was able to retrieve a certain Major that I think was lost. As it was me who got her I thought you should be the one to recieve her."

"Where is she now?" Geri continued, her expression unchanged.

"Either in the mess room or the sickbay on my ship. She wasn't in the best shape but overall is fine. A few days of good food and some antibiotics is all she needs. " he replied.

"Beam her to our sickbay, I'll take care of the rest." Geri replied.

Stovvan nodded "It will be done please let me know when the shields have been taken care of so she may be transported safely. You have the frequencies to reach me."

Geri shifted in her chair slightly not taking her eyes off the Captain. "So what did our little marine find down there? The Admiral doesn't send his band on tour for just anybody." she smiled wryly.

Stovvan almost snorted "We found shuttles from the December." He paused to let that sink in "We thought she was lost with all hands but if he shuttles are showing up she might have defected. We were able to forcefully extricate a computer core from one of the shuttles before it exploaded. I don't know how much information we will be able to get out of it though. Needless to say I hope that it was just the shuttles the 6th aquired and not the ship is self. We don't need the rogues getting there hands on that battleship. I have a feeling I know where my next mission will take me after this one is concluded."

"Bring it to my analysts. You've already lost a starship I'd prefer not to lose our only chance at finding it." She quipped pausing for a moment. "What does this have to do with this crew and Marshall?"

A slight elevation of the left side of his mouth was the only response before he continued. "I didn't lose anything, the fleet lost her. I'm not fleet. After all I never actually graduated the academy." He switched gears "It has nothing to do with my current mission other than Blackburn was on the moon. She activated the distress call and I went into investigate. A second shuttle landed and I got to take some prizes."

"Perhaps you should have graduated, you may have learned a thing or two." She shot back before sighing. "But I digress you have my curiosity, what else did the shuttle yield?"

"Learned enough to find the Major you lost." He quipped in turn "Four very chilled detainees was the rest of the haul."

"Former crew?" She asked.

"Haven't ruled it out."
