Azura was sitting in the command center of the Redemption he had just relieved night shift and was going over the events of the night previous. He noticed that the Assistant Chief of Security's shuttle had made it to the Redemption. He nodded to himself, this was good they were getting back to full staff. He pulled up the internal communications and sent a message to the new officer that he would like to see her as soon as she comes on duty. He looked up at the viewscreen and watched the planet below, it was serene as most planets were at this altitude. No hint of the issues that were befalling the populace below able to be seen from such height. He would have to go by Science and Medical today to check on the status of their research on the virus. Until then he would have Lt. Commander Ferreno begin overseeing the humanitarian aid that they were going to be sending down. He stood, not seeing Commander Rhyan he turned to Lt. Commander Doyl.

"Commander, you have the bridge." he moved to his ready room quickly as there was much to do, over seeing the efforts of the ship to solve Hadronus II's virus issues.

Leya took a few deep breaths and straightened her uniform a bit before stepping out of the turbo lift. Her eyes danced around the bridge as she took everything in. She walked across the bridge and into the ready room. She gave a few more deep breaths and she snapped to attention. " Lt. JG Leya Targarian reporting for duty sir!"

Her voice was crisp, clear and very bright. She was ready as ever and nothing in the world could change that. She tried to clam her breathing as the excitement boiled into her.

Azura looked up at the doors to his ready room and nodded "Lieutenant, please sit." he motioned to the chair across from his desk as he stood.

Targarian looked over to the chair and sat down in it and gave a smile to the captain. "It is an honor to be on the ship sir" Her voice smoothed out as she finally was able to calm down. Or so she thought, her heart beat was fast and loud in her ears.

He nodded to her "Please Lieutenant be at ease. This is me wanting to get to know my senior staff. You come highly recommended by your old CO."

Leya relaxed a bit and leaned back in the chair. She took a few more silents breaths. "I did? That is excellent news. Hopefully I can make the same impression on you as i did my old CO."

He nodded "I'm sure you will. Your direct supervisor is Lieutenant Commander Doyl, Chief of Security and Tactical. Good Officer from what I've seen and a good at training from her jacket. I'm sure you'll learn a lot."

She smiled and nodded when it was appropriate. "She sounds like a good lady and i can not wait to meet her." Leya shifted her legs a bit and crossed one over the other. "Would you like to know anything else sir?"

He shook his head "No Lieutenant, I dont require anything further." he nodded to her "I would suggest that you get familiar with the ship and her crew. If you need assistance PALLAS can help you."

"Aye sir, thank you much. If you don't mind I think I will take your advice and get to that" Leya nodded and she stood up and saluted before walking out.
